Charles I (1625-1649), Group III, Type 3a1, Halfcrown, 1634-1635, Tower (under King), King on horseback left, rev. garnished oval shield, 14.88g [229.8grns], 8h, m.m. bell (Brooker 320ff; North 2209; Spink 2773), scratched behind the King's head and metal flaw to the horses' front hoof, with some doubling to legends, nevertheless bright but lustrous, struck details about very fine / a bolder very fine.
