REX, sixth crowned 'Briot's' bust left, wearing falling stellate lace collar, rev. (m.m.) • CHRISTO • AVSPICE • REGNO • square-topped shield over short cross moline, 5.89g [91.0grns], 12h, m.m. triangle (Sharp G1/1-2; Brooker 543; North 2231; Spink 2799), small graffito before nose, otherwise rubbed but toned, on a fuller, rounder flan, the centres fine / good fine, the peripheries about very fine.
