Charles I (1625-1649), Group A, Sixpence, 1625, Tower (under King), first larger crowned bust left, wearing coronation robes, rev. shield over long cross fourchee, five strings to harp, 2.91g, 10h, m.m. lys (cf. SCBI Brooker 575B; North 2235; Spink 2806), solder to edges at 3 and 9 o'clock, otherwise a most pleasing portrait, good very fine and thus scarce.
