FRA : ET HIB : REX, crowned Irish harp, similar, Type 3d, reading BRI:, six strings to harp, 0.74g, 12h, m.m. annulet, square-cut planchet with the reverse a touch off-struck and traces of verdigris, otherwise brown patina, almost very fine; another, similar, 0.73g, 12h, m.m. trefoil (BMC Peck 109), some earthy deposits, otherwise a bolder very fine; additionally, Charles I (1625-1649), 'Richmond' Types (6), 1c (2), similar to last, except reading CARO, 0.28g, 12h, m.m. large annulet, broken reverse die, otherwise brown patina, very fine; another, 0.44g, 12h, m.m. crescent, greased, a really good very fine; others, (4), 0.36g, 12h, m.m. rose, some porosity, very fine; m.m. lombardic A (2), 0.57g, 12h; another, 0.36g, 6h, both better than very fine; and, 0.47g, 6h, m.m. castle, stained and porous, a bolder very fine; additionally, 'Rose' Farthings, m.m. crescent (3), 0.75g, 12h; another, 0.98g, 12h, the brass wedge more corroded in first, otherwise both with even patination green to black, very fine; and, 0.82g, 12h, corroded, a bold fine; an interesting academic assemblage (9).
