Charles II (1660-1685), 'Rose' Crown, 1662 [undated edge], Type A1, CAROLVS • II • DEI • GRA •, first laureate and draped bust right, rose below, rev. stop after HIB, crowned cruciform shields, interlinked C's in angles, ten strings to harp, downwards lettered edge, 29.75g, 6h (ESC 15 [var]; Bull 339 [var]; Spink 3350), rub to the hair and lightly bagmarked, otherwise toned to dark grey fields, nearing very fine.
