George I (1714-1727), 'Roses and Plumes' Shilling, 1725, second laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, six strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 6.01g, 6h (ESC 1183; Bull 1597; Spink 3649), light porosity and trace cleaning, otherwise almost very fine, a rarity as a field find.
