George II (1727-1760), 'Roses and Plumes' Halfcrown, 1731 QVINTO, young laureate and cuirassed bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, ten strings to harp, edge lettered upwards lettered, 14.86g, 6h (ESC 595; Bull 1674; Spink 3692), flat to the hair, yet with a pleasing grey tone, a really good fine.
