George III (1760-1820), 'New Coinage' Crown, 1818 LIX, laureate head right, rev. St George and Dragon within Garter, edge lettered downwards, 28.31g, 6h (ESC 214; Bull 2009; Spink 3787), small edge bruise at 11 o'clock and a scattering of faint contact marks, nevertheless with a pleasing flashy lustre beneath gun metal grey surfaces, more so to the reverse, about extremely fine.
