George III (1760-1820), 'New Coinage' Halfcrown, 1816, Type 1, first laureate head right, rev. crowned shield within Garter, edge milled, 14.14g, 12h (ESC 613; Bull 2086; Spink 3788), obverse previously wiped, yet with toning to the peripheries and reverse, a hint of residual lustre to the reverse, very fine / good very fine.
