(x) The Leja Park Collection | George I (1714-1727), "South Sea Company" (2), Shilling, 1723, first laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, SS C in alternating angles, seven strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 5.82g, 5h (ESC 1176; Bull 1586; Spink 3647), the obverse lightly rubbed, some weakness to the harp, otherwise richly toned and the reverse lustrous, very fine; additionally, Sixpence, 1723, large lettering, laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform shields, SS C in alternating angles, six strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 2.96g, 6h (ESC 1601; Bull 1614; Spink 3652), rubbed, otherwise about very fine (2).
