Beijing Printing Company, People's Bank of China, a group of 3 unadopted designs, ca. 1990s, all uniface, including,
1). undaopted 10 yuan, bank name at top, black and white design of 10 yuan with Confucius at right, geometric guilloche at borders,
2). partial design, printing press name at top, black and white, Confucius at left, geometric guilloche at borders,
3). reverse 10 yuan proof, olive brown, three forges of Yangtze River, watermark of Mao at left. (This design was used on the Yangtze River was eventually used on the 5th Series Renminbi 20 yuan),(Pick unlisted) all in PMG holders 63, 53EPQ, 63 (previously mounted). A ever scarce and sought after 'Confucius' 10 yuan test note. Different colours of this test design are seen, firs time seen in black and white. Missing in most top China collections. A superb group that is not to be missed (3).
