NGC AU58 | William III (1694-1702), 'Fine-Work' Two-Guineas, 1701, laureate head right, no stop after GRA, rev. crowned shields cruciform, emblem-adorned ornamental sceptres in angles, edge obliquely milled, 16.65g [257.2grns], 6h (MCE 173; Schneider II, 482; Stratos 157; Spink 3457), a touch of die wear to highest points, otherwise soft orange tone overlying lustrous original surfaces, a really pleasingly good very fine, in NGC 'St Helier' holder, graded AU58 (Cert. #6684100-003).
