CARIA, Mylasa(?). Mid 6th century BC. EL Twenty-fourth Stater (6mm, 0.62 g). Lion's paw / Incuse square punch with stellate pattern. Cf. Weidauer 168; SNG Kayhan –; Rosen 285. VF, die rust.

The stellate pattern may be an attempt at a scorpion, similar to the forty-eight staters from this mint.
