George III (1760-1820), 'Spade' Guinea, 1787, fifth laureate head right, rev. crowned 'spade' shield, seven strings to harp, edge chevron milled, 8.39g [129.5grns], 12h (MCE 391; Farey 1260; EGC 711; Spink 3729), cleaned, with a dig mark below truncation and some faint adjustment marks, otherwise residually lustrous, extremely fine.
