(g) Victoria (1837-1901), Type IB, Shieldback Sovereign, 1872 [Die 6], secon young head left, W.W. in relief on truncation, rev. crowned 'normal' shield within wreath, edge milled, 7.95g, 6h (Marsh 56; EGC 1173; Spink 3853B), softness to the hair, otherwise residually brilliant, a pleasingly bolder very fine.
