Olmütz. Karl II gold 5 Ducat 1678 XF Details (Plugged) NGC, Kremsier mint, KM303, Fr-76 (under Bohemia). A challenging Bishopric type immediately recognizable for its medallic, Taler-like design with Karl Eusebius I von Liechtenstein featured prominently on the obverse in a trompe-l'œil effect. Wrapped in an antique-gold patina with muted glow, hints of fuchsia and teal glint in the obverse legends while a terracotta hue seeps into the central region of the reverse. A small plug visible at 12 o'clock minimally impacts the overall appeal and integrity of the selection.
