An iconic relic from the English Civil War and among the most sought-after types across all of 17th century British numismatics. While the technical preservation remains impressive with only a single Mint State example recorded by NGC, the aesthetic quality remains second to none. Deeply embossed devices decorate the piece at hand, protecting the largely unhandled, honeyed canvas beneath.
