George I gold 100 Drachmai 1876-A XF Details (Repaired) PCGS, Paris mint, KM51, Fr-13. Mintage: 76. Arguably one of the great rarities of the modern Greek series, the offering at hand demonstrates an eye-catching, sun-yellow hue that evokes imagery of ancient Mediterranean shores. The surfaces admit a multitude of scattered marks under magnification, and a faint graffito behind George's imposing portrait is mentioned for accuracy. Nonetheless, little actual wear is evident, making this is an astounding survivor of the minuscule original mintage, and worthy of serious consideration for the advanced collection.
