Practically completely untoned and fiercely lustrous, the current offering is achingly close to Mint State and precluded from higher designations by minute handling marks surrounding the King's bust. Overall a pleasing selection and a seldom-seen chance to acquire this major 20th century rarity, as our last straight-graded offering was an NGC MS62 that resulted $11,700 in our January 2018 New York auction, followed by one NGC AU Details piece in August 2022 that sold for $9,000 all in.
