Salzburg. Sigismund III Taler 1754 MS63 PCGS, KM380, Dav-1248. An attractively patinated specimen, with a particularly beautiful, almost back-lit halo of fiery hues of sunset surrounding the Virgin Mary on the reverse, and Sigismund himself seated on a field of magenta and cerulean. Very scarce quality for the type and highly desirable as such.
