Remarkably preserved for a type that saw heavy circulation, with only scant evidence of handling. The flan benefits from a subtle layer of mottled toning, emboldening the effigy of Ernst II, the older sibling of Albert, prince consort of Great Britain as the husband of Queen Victoria.
