Central American Republic gold 2 Escudos 1836 NG-M XF40 NGC, Nueva Guatemala mint, KM12, Fr-12. It is outstanding to find such a scarce and desirable Central American gold type in problem free condition despite moderate circulation. The color is a pleasing mixture of pale gold in the centers and sunset orange approaching the edges. Only three examples at NGC are graded higher.
