Charles III gold Escudo 1762 Mo-MM AU58 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM117, Cal-1377. The very scarce first date of the type. Near Mint State and attractive for the assigned grade, with only slight high-point friction and contact marks well within the confines of the designated grade. Pleasantly sunny in hue and showcasing moments of cranberry and magenta toning in the legends that exhibit pleasing twinkles of luster. Rare and desirable in this unusually fine state of preservation, currently the single finest example of the date.
