Ferdinand VII gold 8 Escudos 1820 M-GJ MS62 NGC, Madrid mint, KM485, Cal-1776. Immensely lustrous with firmly struck, shimmering devices. The slightest evidence of darker toning around the legends enhances the brightness of the raised motif, particularly on the reverse. Surface marks prevent a Choice grade, but this remains an outstanding example of a type more often seen in conditions less than Mint State.
