IONIA, Ephesos. Circa 180-67 BC. AR Tetradrachm (29mm, 12.46 g, 12h). Dated CY 46 (89/8 BC). Cista mystica with serpent; all within ivy wreath / Two serpents entwined around bow and bowcase; headdress of Isis above, Mς (date) to upper left, lit torch to right. Kleiner, Dated 47; DCA 325; SNG Hunterian 399 (same dies). Toned, die wear on obverse. VF.
