Hadrian. AD 117-138. Æ Dupondius (27mm, 13.21 g, 12h). "Travel series" issue ("Provinces cycle") – The province alone. Rome mint. Struck circa AD 130-133. Laureate and draped bust right / NILVS, Nilus reclining left, holding cornucopia and reed, leaning on rock; to left, hippopotamus standing right; below, crocodile right in water. RIC II.3 1713. Green patina, some roughness. Fine.
