John V Palaeologus, with Anna of Savoy (Regent). 1341-1391. Fourée Hyperpyron (21.5mm, 3.13 g, 6h). Imitating an official issue of the Constantinople mint, circa 1341-1347. Anna, holding trefoil scepter and placing hand on breast, standing facing, and John, holding akakia and trefoil scepter, standing facing; Γ to left / Andronicus III kneeling right, being blessed by Christ standing left. Cf. DOC 943 (all references for official issue); cf. SB 2466. Toned, "IK" graffito on reverse, breaks in plating exposing core. Fine.
