Florentine (second half of the 15th century), The Virgin and Child, bronze-gilt pax, the image between two flying putti each separately cast onto a thin plate and set within a frame with praying cherubs superimposed over the pillars on either side and with foliated decoration over the arched top, the back with S-shaped stand, 166 x 110mm (cf.
