After Moderno (16th century), The Dead Christ supported by the Virgin and St John, bronze pax, Christ's body supported by the Virgin and St John over the sarcophagus, the cross in the background and the sarcophagus decorated with strapwork centred with a cherub's head; within architectural frame, with fluted columns to the sides, scrollwork, a cherub's head in the pediment and three cherubs' heads on the entablature, 173 x 118mm (cf.
