Jean-Baptiste Kleber, maestro venerabile della Loggia Iside di Alessandria di Egitto, comandante supremo dell'armata d'Egitto dal 22 agosto 1799, venne assassinato da uno studente siriano il 14 giugno 1800, con una pugnalata al cuore, nel Cairo. Jean-Baptiste Kleber, revered master of the Lodge of Isis in Alexandria, commander in chief of the army in Egypt from August 22, 1799, was killed by a syrian student on August 14, 1800 with a stake through the heart, in El Cairo.
