SAVONA Francesco I Re di Francia (1515-1528) Cavallotto - MIR 562/1 AG (g 3,51) RRRRR Moneta di estrema rarità, la più rara di una tipologia che presenta due versioni. Quella normale con lo stemma del D/ tra le lettere M e S, e quello , come l'esemplare da noi proposto, con lo stemma tra le lettere S e M. Nonostante il MIR le indichi di egual rarità, la seconda tipologia, è, a nostro avviso, di rarità di gran lunga maggiore, tanto che nei motori di ricerca dei passaggi in asta pubblica, risultano 7 passaggi del primo e nemmeno uno del secondo. Non ci risultano quindi altri esemplari apparsi oltre a questo. Coin of the utmost rarity, the rarest variety among two. The regular one has the badge on obverse between the letters M and S while the other variety, the one we offer, has the badge between the lettres S and M. Although MIR lists them as equally rare, the second variety is, in our opinion, much harder to find. According to our research the first kind has been offered for sale 7 times in the past, while this kind has never been auctioned before.
