SINCONA BRITISH COLLECTION – PART 4. GREAT BRITAIN. HENRY V. 1413-1422.
Noble n. d. (1413-1422), Tower Mint. Class D. Mintmark "pierced cross". Mullet and annulet by sword arm, trefoil by shield, broken annulet on ship. 6.89 g. Spink 1743. Schneider coll. 245. Fr. 109. Selten / Rare. NGC MS61.
(~€ 1'750/USD 1'880)

The classification of this piece as a D/C mule, rather than a straight class D, is due solely to the letter P on the reverse. True class D's have Brooke P9 with a sharply cut foot whereas this piece has the intact form Brooke P8. Strangely this coin was identified in the Lockett catalogue as a class F.
From auction Spink 3011, London, July 2003, lot 390.
From the R. C. Lockett Collection, Glendining, London, October 1961, lot 4290.
