Currency Commission, Bank of Ireland, specimen 100 pounds, 5th September 1978 (fictitious date), (real date 6th May 1929), serial number 00 ZK 000000, ploughman and plough team at centre, reverse Killiney Bay, Brennan and Gargon signatures, (Pick 13s, BNB 113s, PMI CBI6s), previously mounted at left margin, otherwise about uncirculated or better, highest denomination and one of the most sought after Irish notes. Only 50 notes were ever issued and all have been redeemed, with only a few handful of specimen notes known to exist, excessively rare, especially in such a good condition and without the punch holes.
