(S/M#C293-1b) Peking. A scarce Half Tael design in any state and rare in this grade. We have only handled a scant few with most being problematic Very Fine pieces. This Extremely Fine note shows without netting defects with only light even circulation. We recently sold a PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 note of the same catalog number which brought $19,120 as lot 22011 in our April 2013 Hong Kong sale. PMG Extremely Fine 40.
