CHINA--REPUBLIC. Bank of China. 100 Dollars, 1.6.1913. P-32Bs. Specimen.
(S/M#C294-46a) Specimen. This note punctuates the splendid offering of these Emperor Huang-ti notes we are offering in specimen guise. An item that pairs quite perfectly to the previous lot and is seen with the same Gem level of quality. PMG has graded only two for the catalog number and this is the finer example. A superbly dark impression of the design leaves infinite detail in the ornate engraving work with large and even borders providing a stunning frame. Seen with common for the series portrait vignette of Huang-ti at left and familiar Temple of Heaven vignette at right. Original paper is easily found looking through the encapsulation surface, and we are sure this offering will not be replicated in the near future. PMG Pop. 1/ none finer. PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
