Dark chocolate-brown XF with a few old marks, unusually high rims, a scarce variety that "tend[s] to be found in lower condition" (Adams-Chao). XRF: 42.22% copper, 50.29% zinc, 6.05% lead. Pedigreed to the John Adams Collection (with his handwritten tag), plated on page 132 of Medallic Portraits of Admiral Vernon (2010), by Adams and Chao, acquired from Christopher Eimer in 2003.
