USA (Philadelphia Mint), copper Liberty Cap cent, 1794, head of 1794, S-65, PCGS VF details / cleaned. S-65, B-51, R.1. Dark, chocolate brown piece with nice details in Liberty's hair curls due to a higher rim on that side leading to this die variety's nickname "shielded hair." Some reverse details are weakly struck due to a failing die; in fact, the S in STATES is nearly gone. Very minimal evidence on the obverse of any sort of cleaning. CPG value (in VF 20): $2,090.
