USA, Connecticut copper, 1787, mailed bust left, horned, PCGS AU53. Miller-4-L, R.1. Interesting die variety struck with a late die stage resulting in a prominent "horn" on the bust. Reverse shows nice centering and a planchet adjustment line across the seated figure; plentiful detail on both sides and well deserving of this mid-AU grade. CPG value (in AU 53): $1,720.
