USA, white metal medal, 1783, Treaty of Paris, with copper plug, PCGS AU details / rim damage. Betts-610; BHM-255. 42mm. A high-grade and lustrous example of this famous medal commemorating the Treaty of Paris which ended the Revolutionary War. The rim damage mentioned on the label is not readily apparent--we can only make out a rim mark at 11 o'clock on the reverse--but the copper plug is quite evident near the bottom on the obverse.
