Obverse: bust of Andrew Jackson facing right, legend encircling ANDREW JACKSON PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES / A.D.1829 at bottom, FURST F. below truncation. Reverse: Reverse: clasped hands below crossed pipe and tomahawk, PEACE / AND / FRIENDSHIP between. Edge: plain. Boldly struck bust of Jackson on this scarcer medal, mottled surfaces of dark brown and lighter bronze tones with a few spot of verdigris and light handling for the grade, one of just two in the PCGS census.
