Light green, heavy glass bottle with vertical "Lea & Perrins" and horizontal "Worcestershire" embossed around shoulders, found in large quantity in two sizes on this ship and most likely cargo, not for passenger consumption. Made since 1835, Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce is the oldest commercially bottled condiment in the US. From the S.S. Republic (1865), with original salvor's certificate and tag.
