Seville, Spain, gold cob 2 escudos, Philip III, assayer B, die-clash on obverse, NGC AU details / blundered shield. Cal-1050; Fr-189. 5.92 grams. First example we have seen with an interesting reversed impression of a cross inside the shield, possibly from die-clashing against a 4 escudos cross-side die. Bold, nearly complete shield with minor scratches above and some edge filing, choice full cross, natural crack on edge, probably OMNIVM but that part of the legend not visible.
Estimate: 1500 - 2250 USD
