Lima, Peru, cob 4 reales, Philip II, assayer Diego de la Torre, P-4 to left, *-D (no o) to right, PCGS XF details / environmental damage, ex-Pat Johnson. S-L4; KM-11; Cal-501. 13.71 grams. Interesting coin missing the o above D for the assayer, probably from a die obstruction and not an actual variety. Strong strike with full shield and cross plus nearly complete legends, clear assayer and mintmark, very dark fields with minor sedimentation from prior burial. Pedigreed to the Pat Johnson Collection (stated on label).
