The Development Company of Cuba was set up after the Spanish-American War by an US Army officer who stayed in the country and bought the Ceballos estate in Camaguey where he sold tracts of land to wealthy Americans looking for a vacation home. Two examples each of the 1 peso, 10 centavos, and 5 centavos plus a single 25 centavos; generally VF to XF, some with minor staining.
