France (Limoges mint), gold louis d'or mirliton, Louis XV, 1725-I, with palm branches, very rare, NGC UNC details / Le Chameau (Shipwreck Blue Label), ex-Ford. Gad-339; Fr-459; KM-470.09. Very rare mint/date combination (R3 in Gadoury), first example we have seen besides the next lot, with choice bold and full details and lovely rainbow coloration on reverse from its time under the sea, desirable pedigree.
