USA, $1 silver certificate star note, series 1935E*, serial 23517826E, PCGS Currency Grade A. Fr-1613N, KL-1456. An impressive rarity from this wreck as a fully intact star note with the highest grade, Grade A, PCGS Currency assigned to the Andrea Doria notes they certified! Pre-sinking circulation wear is noted yet its design is full and bold with just a touch of oceanwater staining around the edges. Encased in a Lucite holder contained in a display box accompanied by a salvor's certificate and promotional DVD entitled "S.S. Andrea Doria: A Journey of Adventure." Recovered from: Andrea Doria, sunk in 1956 off Nantucket, Massachusetts
