Mexico City, Mexico, cob 8 reales, 1634/3 P/D, very rare, NGC VF details / Concepcion (1641). S-M18a; KM-unl (45 for type); Cal-1319 (as clean P). 24.14 grams. Very bold full oMP punched over somewhat offset old oMD (not mentioned on label), also full and bold 163 of date followed by most of 4/3 (clear overdate, also not mentioned on label), nearly full cross but much peripheral flatness, light surface corrosion, attractively toned. From the Concepcion (1641), with official tag 10003, pedigreed to the Clyde Hubbard Collection, with his original tag/envelope.
