Mexico City, Mexico, cob 4 reales, 1610/09 F/A, very rare, NGC XF 40, finest and only example in NGC census. S-M17; KM-unl (37.2 for type); Cal-754. 13.93 grams. Broad flan with very bold full oMF/A and faint traces of date (attributable to 1610/09 only), good full cross and shield but peripheries flat, minor edge-splits, toned all over. Pedigreed to the Clyde Hubbard Collection, with his original tag/envelope.
