Natural gold nugget, 2.24 grams, ex-SS Central America (1857), housed in an NGC holder. Roughly 1/2" x 1/4". Irregular oblong chunk with rounded lobes, fineness unknown but fairly dark in color, a desirable size as not just dust or flakes but also not egregiously high in intrinsic value. From the S.S.
