Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales Royal (galano), 1721 Y, rare, NGC XF details / plugged, ex-Globus. S-P43a; KM-R31; Cal-1493. 27.57 grams. Superb full details on both sides (far superior to Lazaro 268, a die-match, rated R2), just the top of the cross a bit doubled, with lovely toning all over, crudely plugged hole at bottom of cross. Pedigreed to the Dr. Alfred R. Globus Collection (Stack's auction of December 2000, lot 5).
